We Live In Public
Ondi Timoner | Documentary
This movie is amazing, disturbing, fascinating, and leaves you thinking about some pretty important ideas. It's also quite a conversation starter, because the subject Josh Harris is equal parts visionary, artist, and arrogant madman. The filmmakers wanted to blow minds and actually succeed. Incredible.

Of All The Things
Jody Lambert | Documentary
The greatest surprise in this beautifully crafted movie is that Dennis Lambert is not some wannabee music star, or forgotten talent but a great musician who crafted his life, like his songs, with seriousness, love and great affection. There are no “Anvil” moments here. Lambert is a serious player who is speaking for a boomer generation of musicians who have followed the heady rush of their rock and roll years with equally fulfilling commitment to family and other pursuits. But the music inside never leaves. Lambert's son, Jody, and his crew have created, what I think, is a brilliant film about family, and the joy and spirit that lives on whether you are 20 or 60. So OK, I'm 60, but I was totally elated by this film.
