The aging process renders us less and less capable of doing things we once did deftly. This metaphorical, stop-motion short film depicts that decline in the form of an old man fishing in a turbulent sea. He vainly toils to prevent the objects he collects from plunging through his hands into the stormy water below him. - Callista Burns This short is playing in Shorts Package 1: Animation. I love the texture and sound of the film, but I think the theme was lost a little. So cleverly done! I was able to stay for the Q+A with the producer and it was amazing to hear how this whole process developed.
