Run time: 26 min. | aka: The Lake | Israel | Language: Hebrew with English subtitles
Yoni (Oren Lavie) is a jaded nonconformist who can’t hold down a job––not that he particularly wants one. After getting on his latest boss’s nerves one too many times, he decides to visit his older brother Sa’ar (writer/director Boaz Lavie) and find out just how Sa’ar manages to support himself without a profession, year after year. Sa’ar agrees to show him, and takes Yoni on a most curious aquatic hunting trip. After all, when the world turns against you, you can always count on family…can’t you?
