Kanizsa Hill

Categories: Short Film
Run time: 8 min. | USA
Fundamentally, humans often struggle with conflicts between mind and body. In KANIZSA HILL, a shooting victim finds that his only option to survive his injury is to exist with his head and body living independently of each other. The head is constantly lost in a series of delusions, and the body obsessively collects objects. Will they ever find a way back to a unified existence? This beautifully animated film combines collage and illustration to portray this philosophical conundrum.

I felt a little lost. I thought visually the animation was interesting but the story was a little far fetched and ultimately I felt no connection
